Applying for a visa for the UAE couldn’t be easier. If you reside in the UAE and wish to apply for visas for family, relatives or friends, air arabia is pleased to assist. We extend visa assistance services for visitors from any one of our 37 destinations, so visitors must have a confirmed return ticket to travel on air arabia. The rest is simple…
Salary Requirement
- For Sharjah Visa for immediate family members (including spouse, parents, children and siblings), the applicant’s monthly salary must be AED 3000
- For Sharjah Visa for friends and relatives, the applicant’s monthly salary must be AED 5000
- For Dubai Online Visa for immediate family members (including spouse, parents, children and siblings), the applicant’s monthly salary must be AED 4000.
- For Dubai Online Visa for friends and relatives, the applicant’s monthly salary must be AED 6000
The sponsor has the option of requesting visa from Sharjah or Dubai
Documentation from Applicant
The applicant must submit the following documents in person:
- An original salary certificate with the latest date (maximum 1 month old) from the employer
- A passport photocopy with a minimum residence visa validity of six months.
- A photocopy of your labour card with a minimum validity of six months.
- A cash guarantee of AED 2,500 and cheque deposit of AED 5,000 (undated) per person is required.
- A labour contract copy
- If the applicant has a trade license, we require a copy for the license with 6 months validity, along with bank statements for the trade license.
- Copy of marriage certificate is required for spouse
This amount is refundable upon the departure of the visitor (see details below)
Documentation from Visitor(s)
The applicant must submit the following documents of the visitor(s):
- A passport photocopy with a minimum validity of six months
- 2 passport size colour photographs
Regulations for Children
- Separate visas are not required if accompanying children are on the same passport as their mother.
- However, children with separate passports will require individual visa. For children under the age of 10 years, the guarantee deposit AED 5,000/- is not required.
Processing Time & Charges
- A Sharjah normal visa is issued in 3-5 working days after the submission of the application forms at a charge of AED 250/-
- A Sharjah urgent visa is issued in 1-3 working days after the submission of the application forms at a charge of AED 375/-
- Dubai Online normal visa is issued in 3-4 working days after the submission of the application forms and at a charge of AED 275
- Dubai Online urgent visa is issued in 1-2 working days after the submission of the application forms and is at a charges AED 400
Visa Validity & Renewal
- A visit visa is valid for 60 days from the time of entry into the UAE.
- The visa can be extended for another 55 days before its expiry.
- Original passport is required along with a payment of AED 750 for Dubai or Sharjah visa.
Visa Cancellation
- Cancellation of visa that is approved and not used can take place only after the visit visa expires (60 days) from the date of issue.
- Applicant must pay AED 130 for cancellation charges then the visa will be cancelled (note visa charges cannot be refunded if visa was rejected, cancelled or approved)
- If visa is under process and needs to be cancelled then the applicant must pay AED 130. This requires 14 days from date of applying to be cancelled.
Refund of Guarantee Deposit
- The applicant can claim the guarantee deposit only after the departure of the visitor from the UAE.
- For cases with OVERSTAY, ABSCONDING or any other illegal act in UAE no refund will be given back.
- The applicant must submit a 100% clear passport copy securing the visitor’s departure (exit details) along with the flight details to obtain a refund of the guarantee deposit.
- Refund of cancelled visa: 60 days after approval.
- Refund of cancelled visa: for visa under process applicant must wait for 14 days to cancel the visa.
- Cheques and cash will be released only on submission of original receipts.
- In case original receipt is lost the applicant must pay AED 50 to claim the deposit.
- Refund claims must be made within 2 months from the date of departure of the visitor. Any delay after this period will not be entertained.
UAE Immigration Authority Regulations
- Visa are required for all visitors with the exception of nationals from the following 33 countries:
- GCC Nationals (Gulf Cooperation Council member countries): Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
- Western Europe: France, Italy, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Luxemburg, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Finland, Spain, Monaco, Vatican City, Iceland, Andorra, San Mario and Liechtenstein.
- United Kingdom
- North America: USA and Canada
- Australia and New Zealand
- Far East: Japan, Brunei, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong
- Visitors must enter the UAE within 2 months from date of issue of the visa.
- Only single entry is allowed. Once the visitor departs from UAE, the visa will be automatically cancelled.
- The bearer of the visit visa is not allowed to work in the UAE
- An overstay charge of AED 200 will be charged per person on the first day and additional AED 100 for every additional day of over-stay.

Conditions
- Visa assistance is available only to visitors flying on air arabia and bookings must be made only at the air arabia sales shops in Sharjah Rolla or Dubai. No other bookings will be accepted.
- Ticket should be booked only after the visa is issued (return ticket is a must).
- Air arabia will not be responsible for rejection of the visa application by the UAE Immigration Authority.
- Should the visa be rejected or is unused there will be no refund of the fee.
- For any reason if the ticket is fully or partly unused, no refund will be provided. air arabia will bear no responsibility for bookings made before visa is issued.
- Air Arabia will not be responsible for any fines or penalties that may be imposed on the visitor by the UAE Immigration Authority

- To apply for a visit visa please come and check in person at our Sharjah or Dubai sales shops. The visa office is open between 08:30 and 13:00 from Sunday until Thursday. .
